MDES organized the seminar and exhibition “Thailand 4.0 Thailand goes beyond what you think: Thailand 4.0 The Future and Beyond”

The growth of the country is now mostly concerned with digital technologies. To gather ideas on how to promote the country as a regional participant in the digital economy, the seminar “THAILAND 4.0 THE FUTURE AND BEYOND” was recently convened. The conference and exhibition were inaugurated by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society at the Centara Grand Ladprao hotel in Bangkok, under the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan. General Prawit spoke at the occasion and discussed how Thailand has advanced significantly over the years. The promotion of a digital economy that would enhance national competitiveness also demonstrated this. He said that, in line with the government’s “Thailand 4.0” strategy, which prioritizes advancing the economy via innovation, digital technology may be leveraged to spur societal advancement. The event, which the Deputy Premier deemed urgently necessary and of the utmost significance, was organized by the ministry and received praise from him. Additionally, he expressed gratitude to the corporate sector for helping to make the event possible and urged that the public, particularly vulnerable groups like the disabled, benefit from the findings.The event also intended to spread awareness of online hazards and the beneficial uses of digital technology, including how to prevent misuse. The intention is to better equip the people to respond to internet attacks and other dangers.
In response to MDES objective, Thailand 5G EIC exhibit the recent technology that help elevate Thailand’s social well-being and economic growth. For healthcare services, the 5G Remote OPD and 5G Remote Surgery consulting platform are displayed and demonstrate their capabilities in enabling Tele-medicine capabilities, bridging the inequity gap in Thai’s healthcare services. 5G AR and 5G VR Smart Classroom are also deployed in order to demonstrate AR/VR technology can help shape Thailand’s educational services both in ordinary national education program and professional studies.
